outstanding hole spotter
This scope is the best for $200. I can spot holes in 300 yard target, .22 with backlight, or a 30 cal without. The 1/4 bolt mount is not usable, but easily remedied by a freeland spotting saddle. The optics are so clear on this scope, but it does deserve a saddle to keep it steady at 300 yds. Eye relief with glasses is excellent, and only yellow mentioned by previous reviewer is sun wash in early morning or late evening. Monster scope
This thing is huge! I received it as a replacement for another Burris scope that was defective. It comes with a bracket that you have to use to make it even somewhat close to balance. The focus seems to work ok. There is much yellow haze around the edges of the scope, I suppose you could make a sunshade for it but I figured since it was overcast I'd be ok-not. It gets real fuzzy over 30x. My daughter thought that her Barska Blackhawk was superior in performance at half the cost. My Leupold Sequoia is better at slightly more. I would not buy another one; in fact I may not buy another Burris spotter.... More
