Spend a little more.
I may have expected too much for the low cost of this but I would recommend you spend a little more to get into a higher quality optic with ED glass. Burris seems to build a tough scope and Spotter and it has held up well and I do use it quit often but some of my lower power primo glass rifle scopes will resolve stuff this wont. The case is a very nice feature however the tripod is a bit light weight for my taste having been a pro photographer and really knowing what a good tripod is like. The flip side of that is I have tripod heads that cost more than twice what this costs so for the money this is a very fair deal and the case is definately a nice feature.
