Burris AR332
I thought Burris had hit a home run with their new AR332 CQB sight. After waiting several months after ordering, I received the sight only to be disappointed.
What I liked: The sight offers true 3x magnification and mounting rails for lasers/lights etc... The mounts will work with carry handles and flat-top receivers alike. The reticle is visible without batteries.
What I did not like: The reticle was not straight within the sight (turned counter clockwise). This was an obvious manufacturing defect. The reticle is too small to be of use at longer ranges. The windage and elevation adjustments remind me of cheap import scopes. The o-ring seals for the windage/elevation caps were off-the-shelf o-rings and were already deformed/damaged and falling off. The “Made in China” sticker found on the sight should tell the whole story. I hope Burris can fix the problems with this sight; as it has the potential to be a real winner for AR rifles.
