Prefer it to a Leupold VX2
I needed a scope for my new CZ 452 American .22LR rifle. I looked at a Leupold VX2 3-9X33mm EFR, but the price was $400. I needed more power than 9X. The Burris 4.5-14X32 is the same size as the Leupold, has a ballistic plex reticle, has a closer focus, goes up to 14X power, and is $180 less costly. The Leupold would have cost me more than my new rifle after figuring in the cost of rings. I bought the Burris steel high rings for half the price of Leupold rings, and I am well pleased with them, and they carry a lifetime warranty. The ballistic plex reticle really works well. The scope holds zero well, and it has 1/8 MOA click values compare to the 1/4 MOA click values of the Leupold. The Burris Timberline scope is simply better than the Leupold 3-9X33 EFR for long range work, which shooting in Montana is all about. I am considering getting a second scope just like this one for my AR-15. Build quality equals my older 2-7X26 Burris scope made in the USA. Great scope.... More
