Burris Black Diamond Rifle Scopes

Heck yes Burris can do'em every bit as good and better than the Europeans. They're Americans, they can and have done it better with the Black Diamonds, and they didn't have to get carried away with the pricing. Although their development testing told us so in the first place, it is rewarding to field input from shooters touting the quality of their Black Diamonds compared to $1,000 plus scopes.
Burris' customers have repeatedly asked us to incorporate a side focus on these scopes for convenience, so this year they've brought out three magnification ranges with their new side focus parallax ajdustment. While they were at it, they streamlined them a bit, made them a bit shorter, significantly lighter weight, and they can be mounted lower on a rifle. But other than that, they didn't change much. Of course they left the other features alone such as the famous image brightness, clarity, resolution, finger-adjustable and resettable adjustment dials, generous 3 1/2" to 4" of eye relief, durability, and value.
Burris also upped the bar on the front focus 3-12x and 4-16x Black Diamond by adding the option of T-plated lenses from their Titanium line. T-Plated lenses are virtually scratch-proof.
Add the Ballistic Mil-Dot to the 4-16x, 6-24x, 8-32x, and you'll easily convince yourself that you have the ultimate long range low light riflescope.
Posi-Lock®
Internally adjustable scopes have always relied on a spring to allow adjustment while holding the adjustments accurately. Burris uses two springs to double-up the force that keeps you on target. Thinking beyond this obvious tactic, they took it a step further and invented and patented the Posi-Lock System. Posi-Lock is a coil-spirng-assisted retractable steel post that firmly, assuredly, locks your accuracy in place. After all, once you sight in you expect your scope to stay put. It's gratifying to hear back from so many customers that their Posi-Lock scope remains perfectly zeroed year after year. This is a feature well worth considering if you are sporting a severely recoiling rifle or handgun.
