NOT a true 1X This is a nice looking scope. However, when I received it I was not happy with the fact that it is NOT a true 1X. I'm going to try it on a rifle and see if I can still use it but a TRUE 1X is sorely lacking in the Bushnell lineup.

Good hunting scope I bought one of these for my son’s Mini 14 that he uses to hunt coyotes. Without the illumination he would not have been able to shoot a coyote after dark last week in the head at 150 yds. The photo of the scope makes it look smaller than it looks in person it is a 30mm tube and a sturdy scope. This is a real bargain and very useful, I would definitely buy another. I placed a small piece of rubber from a rubber band next to the battery to keep it in position.

true 1 power I have this scope mounted on a mini-14 in 6.8 cal. I have been using it for over a year now with no problems. The best thing it is a true 1 power when set on 1X which gives a true sight picture with both eyes open. Many scopes call themselves a 1x4 and later you find out they are really 1.4 or 1.5. The illumination helps in the early and late hrs. while hog hunting.
