a great "go - to " scope
4200's are my ”go-to” optics. These are great all purpose scopes that you can feel assured will get the job done. Without fail, they have proven to be excellent, bright (95% light transmission rated), clear optics and a great value. I have them mounted on kickers like 300 Wby's, 338 magnums, and a 300 Rem. Ultramag with zero issues. The Rainguard really works also, and can be a hunt saver. The long tube length makes for easy mounting on long and magnum actions (may be a tad long for compact rifles though). Great warranty is a plus, and though I haven't needed it. I understand Bushnell has good customer service. Feel confident in this purchase.
