Douglas SmithI shot this 4 piont blacktail buck on election day. The location was Willamina Creek in Yamhill county Oregon. I was walking up a logging road just before the end of shooting hours. I looked to my left and saw this buck looking at me. He was about 125 yard down a hill between second growth trees. He looked like a picture right from one of those tv hunting shows. I rasied my Remington Sendero with my Leupold 4.5-14 mil dot scope and took the shoot. I aiming right at his brisket. The buck went right down. The ammo was Barnes 180 XLC with H-4831 poweder. A thanks to SWFA for my Leupold scope. Two scores in the same year. One elk, one deer.
