Our practice range faces southwest on the southern most tip of Texas. The backstop berm is built 100 yards from the river that divides the US from Mexico. This is a perfect spot to shoot with a steady wind from the southeast. Hitting targets out to 700 yards is relatively easy with our .308 SPHD Rifles, but for close work we prefer our EOTechs! The EOTechs are perfect for fast target acquisition and removal.

We searched the SWFA websites for the best Holo type site at a good price. We decided on the EOTech 550 Military Series so that we could use them with our NVGs. We tried to save a few more bucks and go with a slightly cheaper version, but when we got the package we were pleasantly surprised. The model we ordered was out of stock so instead of making us wait, they upgraded our order and gave us a more expensive model that takes the standard AA batteries. With deals and savings like that, why would you want to shop anywhere else?
