Duane HerbortI bagged this nice 8 pointer recently on the Herbort Ranch in the Texas Hill Country near Fredericksburg in the Reingold Community. The deer was taken on the first day of the hunt on November 1, 2003.
What a difference the Swarovski EL 8.5 x 42 Binoculars made. I usually don't use binoculars when I hunt but that just changed. I was able to see deer at very low light on this cloudy overcast day. I spotted deer through the dense cover that I would have never seen. Seeing this deer through the Swarovski EL’s was GREAT! I watched him for about 30 minutes through the dense cover before he came out to give me a shot. He seemed like he was sitting in the blind with me looking through these binoculars.
