When a pack of coyotes started running through our back yard in the middle of the day, we videotaped and photographed them. Because they seemed to show almost no fear of my wife and daughter, and because our daughter’s sandbox and swingset are in our back yard, we decided to thin them out for her safety. I ordered the EOTECH 551 for yard defense because it is fast, rugged, accurate, and can be aimed in low light. I put it on a pistol whose slide could not be operated by a child. Here are two coyotes I recently got behind our house as proof that the EOTECH pistol setup can get the job done. Our daughter is holding a stuffed Simba from her favorite movie, “The Lion King.” She calls me Mufasa, her mom Sarabi, and herself Simba. She refers to coyotes as "hyenas." Our little Simba now keeps an eye out for “hyenas in the pridelands!” Little Simba just wants to say, “Thanks SWFA for helping to make the pridelands safe from the hyenas!”
