James MolineI took my 5x5 buck this November on a farm in Fremont, Nebraska. I had my trusty Rem 700 .308 and my SWFA Leupold 3.5-10x50 scope with me. I had finished a disappointing day of hunting with no luck. I saw a ton of does, but only small bucks. As I was packed up and walking towards home, a shot rang out nearby and this buck ran from the shelter belt. It ran right towards me and then stopped about 150 yards away. I shouldered my rifle and delivered the shot.
