Joe JordanThanks to Chris and the awesome staff at SWFA, I was the first kid on my block to own Bushnell’s New Tactical Elite 4200 Scope! SWFA made it possible for me to be one of the first people to get my hands on one of these highly-touted offerings from Bushnell and at a great price!
I combined the Tactical Elite with a Remington 700 Sendero chambered in .300 Remington Ultra Magnum and ran some initial tests against a couple other high powered precision interdiction instruments. The results are described below and partially depicted in the attached photograph. Hemi powered Dodge Charger with police package: Top Speed: 160 MPH Acceleration: 0–60 = 7.2 seconds Precision Instrumentation and Guidance: Laser RADAR
Navy Blue Angel's F/A 18 Hornet Jet Aircraft: Top Speed: Mach 1.6 or 1218 MPH Acceleration: 0 to mach 1.2 = 2 min or so Precision Instrumentation and Guidance: Hughes APG-65 with long-range detection in both head-on and tail-on aspects
Sniper Rifle chamber in .300 Rem Ultra Mag: Top Speed: 3450 FPS or 2352 MPH Acceleration: 0-2500 mph = .025 seconds Precision Instrumentation and Guidance: Bushnell Tactical Elite 4200 6-24x50 with “Rainguard” and super bright and clear glass capable of sub MOA groups out to a thousand yards!
From these initial evaluations, I think the Remington 700/Bushnell Tactical Elite combo is the clear winner!
Thanks again SWFA for a great deal on a great product!
Gratefully, Joe Jordan
