Matt TravisHi Chris Using the Zeiss 85mm spotting scope I bought from you this summer I watched this buck bed down in the evening, then I backed away slowly and let him sleep. He was a good half mile away but that scope made it easy to watch him. Early the next morning temps were down to 29 degrees as I started the stalk to where I had last seen him. The buck must have been cold too, because I got within 30 yards of him before he jumped up. He trotted to 150 yards, the 257 Roberts (topped with the Leupold 4.5-14) barked once, and he collapsed. Antelope are sure beautiful animals. I always feel remorse after putting one down, and was glad to give him one last meal on his way to antelope Valhalla. Matt used:
