Another deployment and again SWFA is helping to kit me out right! As a flying advisor this time, and during operational interdiction missions, I have to be even more prepared should something go wrong. If the PKM doorguns don’t do the trick, I’ll have to rely on small arms like my M-9 Pistol and ACOG-equipped M-4 Carbine. Of course, the Beretta is a last resort, and I won’t want to wait that long to engage. The 4x32 ACOG is great for extending a little reach, but for quick close shots, instead of the TA01NSN’s standard ghost ring sight, SWFA was able to outfit my rig with the awesome Trijicon Red-Dot Sight and Mount. Of course, to keep it safe from the knocks and bumps of the awkward Mi-17 cockpit, I added the cool neoprene scope coat. Hooah!
