Docter 8x56 Nobilem binocular
I have owned this product for over 6 years and used it extensively for selective hunting of red stag and/or night hunting of wild boar in Europe.
My son uses the reputed Zeiss Dyalit 8x56 B and the two of us have had ample occasions to compare both instruments afield.
As a binocular, the Docter Nobilem 8x56 yields very high optical performance, much similar to the Zeiss Dyalit 8x56 B, which is some reference.
The Docter' only drawback is a matter of weight and bulk. It weighs-in at 1564 grams, as opposed to the 1156 grams of the Zeiss, a difference of 408 grams (i.e. almost one pound).
Doesn't matter anymore once you're installed in the tree-stand.
Rating 5 is well deserved.
