Not compatible with AR platform
It isn't listed on SWFA's site, and isn't listed on EOTech's site either, but beware that this reticle is not calibrated for installation on top of an AR type weapon. I found out the hard way. I installed atop my DPMS LR-308, but was not able to get the elevation down enough to zero. With the elevation screw all the way bottomed out, it was still a couple of feet high at 100M. A call to EOTECH customer service uncovered that this reticle is mechanically calibrated for use on a 25" .308 machine gun. Who knew? Couldn't return the scope because I mounted it already, but SWFA stood behind my purchase and reimbursed my the 70 bucks i spent to have it shipped back to EOTech to have a different reticle installed. It's disappointing that there is no mention of the lack of compatibility, however, SWFA has earned a customer for life based on the way they handled this situation. They totally put the customer first, and they really didn't have to. Thanks SWFA! ... More
