Super durable optic with great glass
I have been using one of these scopes for several years now on an AR-15. It has been through a ton of crap. It is on my go to gun for nearly everything. It gets taking on my four-wheeler gun rack and bounced around all the time. It has been through 5 or 6 4 day tactical rifle classes; it has been dropped multiple times and never lost its zero.
The glass is great, typical IOR. The reticle while best suited for tactical style shooting works pretty good for hunting. The BDC works great with 55 grain FMJs to about 500 yards out of my 16 inch barrel.
Downsides are the illumination leaves a lot to be desired as do most IORs and the reticle actually moves in the tube so it may not be perfectly centered when zeroed or you are making adjustments in the field. It has never bothered me personally though. Anyone looking for a tough scope that is significantly cheaper than the ACOG, this is a good option.
