Prominar XD Lens: This is the first Kowa full size (Kowa Genesis Binoculars) binocular to use the Prominar brand name, utilizing four XD lenses. These high performance binoculars use the technology of the TSN-880/770 series spotting scopes and pair XD lenses with convex lenses made of glass with special dispersion properties to reduce chromatic aberration to a further degree. This advanced technology creates a bright image with high contrast and remarkable color reproduction that can not be duplicated by a normal achromatic lens.
Diopter Lock: The diopter control is equipped with a locking mechanism that keeps the dopter from accidentally being changed.
Phase Coated Roof Prism: The prism is phase-coated to ensure sharp images and outstanding contrast.

Wider Field of View: The new wide angle eyepiece design of the Kowa Genesis/XD 33 Series has increased the field of view of the 8x by 28% (140m/yds at 1,000m/yds) and 10x by 14% (119m/yds at 1,000m/yds) when compared to the Kowa BD32 Series binoculars.

Kowa Gensis/XD 44 Series Binoculars
High Refractive Index Prism: The new prism system of the Kowa Genesis/XD 44 Series allows for a wide field of view and edge to edge sharpness with minimal loss of light. This high refractive roof prism (Bak4 + SK15) offers near total reflectance and when combined with Kowa's proprietary C³ coating the ultimate viewing experience is achieved.
Magnesium Alloy Body: The magnesium alloy body decreases the weight of the binocular while providing a rugged structure that can withstand the severest condtions.
