Not worth the money
I quickly returned this scope after receiving it. The glass has good clarity and the reticle is very precise and usable. Unfortunately, the rest of the scope falls short. Illumination was appalling, almost multicolor and uneven, the turrets were loose, and my biggest complaint was the eye relief was all or nothing. Either you could see clearly or it would go totally black with the slightest eye position change forward, backward or side to side. None of these complaints were a surprise when I saw the made in China sticker on the box. Save your money and buy a Leupold VXR, or Burris XTR instead.... More

Great scope for the money....but....
....I could not get the scope to zero at 100 yds with my AR shooting 55gr ball. I know it's not the gun or the mount as I just switched out optics and rings on my LaRue LT-104...got rid of an old "cheapo" scope that actually held great zero.
Overall, the scope is very clear, good light transmission, reticle is very clear and easy to read.
I tried to reset the physical center per the instruction manual and even with the elevation at the limit of it's downward travel, the best I could get was 6" high at 100 yards. Nice tight groups but just too high and I need about 12 more clicks down to be spot-on.
I love everything else about the scope though. Maybe I just got a lemon. Now I get to test their warranty.

I agree with Joseph I am disappointed with the uneven illumination and I also have a spot on the reticle that the warranty said is not warrantable. The glass is clear. I made this purchase because I didn’t want to wait for the Falcon Menace 1.5-5x30 that I could not get a direct answer on a delivery date on, I should not have rushed myself.... More

Great scope
Great scope for the money. I've had it for a few months and shot about 1000 rds on my M1A with it. Well made; turret adjustments are positive and the zoom is smooth. Holds a zero superbly. The glass is very clear. The magnification at 1x is very slight.. might be 1.2x in reality. I still find it workable as a dot sight at this magnification. The numbers and markings on the reticle are a bit small. The reticle is unevenly lit a tiny bit but I find this to not be a problem at all.
The biggest problem is that the scope caps are junk. They shoot loose and aren't that well made. Easily solved with an 3rd party set I already had around. YMMV.
All in all I'm very happy with it and I trust Leatherwood (first time customer!). When I get my SOCOM-16, the CMR is going on there and I'll get one of the other Leatherwood models for my full-size M1A. ... More

Best scope I own
I put this on a Colt/Umarex .22 M4 Ops - made it into a tack driver. I will order a second one for my AR. Well worth the money!
