And once the windage has been set and locked down, changes in elevation can be quickly and easily accomplished by loosening the elevation lock screw and moving the vernier-style setting up or down. This is an ideal arrangement for the hunter who ends to make such changes quickly. However, for the target shooter requiring more gradual and precise elevation changes, Leatherwood is now offering this optional fine elevation adjustment attachment that can be quickly and easily installed on Leatherwood's standard rear mount, which allows precise 1/2 minute of angle changes at 100 yards.
