Leica rangemaster 900
I bought my first range finder in 1997, a Bushnell for 400 yds. I've been very happy with it. I needed more distance and bought Leica Rangemaster 900. I tested the Leica against the Bushnell in fields where I hunt, forget any reflective targets, these where fields and swamps. The Bushnell still works good out to about 350 yds on soft surface. I could not believe the speed that the Leica worked. I got good readings from 15 to 990 yds. all on soft ground. The lenses are crystal clear. Very nice size for carrying. I am very happy, I’d buy another one.

Clear and Simple
This is a great product without the frills of BDC and angle manipulation. It will give the range to the object which is all the shooter needs to know in most cases. The optics are very clear, even in low light conditions. 7x is plenty of magnification for typical ranges. Scan mode is great for multiple targets. The size and weight is amazing, this unit will fit in your shirt pocket. My only regret is that I bought a Leupold first and wasted that $300 I could have used to buy the Leica 1200.
