Outdoorsman
SWFA Outdoors has an awesome business going, best prices and I ordered my scope on the eve of the 23rd and it was on my doorstep the morning of the 27th. I mounted it on a DPMS 308T and can't wait to go throw some lead down range. I will comment on the scopes performance sometime next week. I am very happy to have found your site!!! Keep up the great work!... More

I have four of these scopes. I am a match director at Rio Salado Sportsmans club. I shoot three gun. The glass in these scopes is ok. The reticle is very good for three gun. One power is supper for up close targets. Four is good for targets out to four hundred.
Of the four scopes that I have two have failed. The power ring comes loose and the zero starts to move around. Both scopes failed with the same problem. One was mounted on a Smith M@P 22 the other on an AR.
The first one I sent back and it was replaced right away. The second one I have been waiting for for two months and still no scope.
I used this scope on the cover of a book and talked about it in the book. I am starting to wounder if I made a mistake.... More

Well worth the money
I have been looking for optics for my new AR since December, and it has taken me until now (May) to make my decision. Wow. I'm sure glad I chose the Millet. After my extensive 5 month search I chose this one simply because of my previous experience with the Millet Buck Gold line and because I couldn't find anyone, anywhere, who had anything bad to say about this optic. Okay, okay, it’s not a Mark 4, but I still have $700 in my pocket for ammo and this thing is built like a rock. Super nice reticle and a true hidden gem. ... More

Excellent Value MR/T Scope
The Millett DMS is an excellent value and I enthusiastically recommend it.
I hunted most of my life and I was trained in Marines to shoot very accurately using only "open sights". I realize however, that my 50+ (years) eyes needed a scope that I could quickly adapt to my style of shooting and one that I could use to hunt 'hogs' in the twilight hours.
I mounted on S.A. M1A Scout Squad using A.R.M. Mount and Burris XTR Rings. Glass is clear, W/E adjustments are accurate, and scope is solidly built but, I expected this. What I did NOT expect is how natural and accurate the reticle is to use, even at 4X Power. The use of the illuminated reticle builds supreme confidence as light diminishes.
Pros: Clear reticle with illumination; Accurate and well built.
Cons: Eye relief is somewhat limiting but is not a concern.
Other: I also recommend Red Dot sights/scope if minimal or no magnification is needed. BTW, the folks at SWFA were very helpful and are now my only source for optics!

Only thing in its class
You can get scopes with similar magnification range and with similar (or better) optics, but you'll pay a bunch more for them. I looked high and low for something else that had a 1x option and didn't go past about 4x and didn't weigh a ton or wasn't as big as a bazooka and this is about the only option I found, and I'm glad I did, in fact I'm about to buy another one to mount on my new S.S.A.L.T. mount. 5 stars....
