The Minox MD 8x42 C is particularly robust and watertight to a depth of 3 m. With extremely compact dimensions 65 x 61 x 143 mm and a weight of just 370 g, the new Minox MD 8x42 C has an exceptionally good grip and is easy to handle. The convenient single-handed operation enables a comfortable and reliable use, while the sturdy metal body offers optimum protection against external influences for the brilliant optics.

The short and compact telescope body, designed by Volkswagen-Design, is destined
to meet many other demands put on it also. With a field of view of more than 114 m, the
compact Minox Macroscope™ is just at home being used as a ‚normal‘ telescope, just as you would a full sized ‘scope. Viewing a historical tower on a sight-seeing trip or big events in a stadium or concert hall, the new compact Minox Macroscope™ is ideal. It also has the added advantage of being handy and easy to use for partially sighted people.
The lens diameter of 25 mm combined with its innovative optical system and high quality multi layer coating of the optics, ensures bright images with high contrast and accurate colour rendition under all conditions. Despite its lightweight, around 150 grams, the Minox Macroscope™ features tough rubber armouring to protect against everyday wear and tear and along with a special sealing technique is internally purged with special Argon gas to not only minimise internal corrosion and prevent internal fogging during quick temperature or humidity changes, it also ensures that it remains waterproof in bad weather conditions and even in water down to 5 meters. For those who wear spectacles, the full field of view is visible due to the extended exit pupil. The twist-up/twist down eyecup is an important feature for both spectacle and non-spectacle wearing users.
