Worth a thought
I have this scope mounted on a Savage .300 win mag. The build quality just ok. The lenses are better than you would expect for $200 but not great. Comparable to Mid-level BSA or Very low-end Leupold or Nikon. The illuminated dot is clear and visible in all but the brightest sunlight. The adjustments are not as accurate, as it should be, same goes for the reticle. The mil-dot is accurate @ 8x (2nd focal plane). The Lenses are fair but in low light especially at higher magnifications the light transmission is lacking. The lenses are coated evenly so it is the same appearance throughout the sight picture. Also the turrets have over lapping adjustment which means you HAVE to remember the 1/2 moa loss with each rotation. With 1/8 inch; clicks there is a lot of clicking at long range with .308win. The clicks are not as crisp or defined as I’d like nor are they accurate. The battery for reticle doesn’t last long, the 60 moa up travel is ok. Turret teeth are brass (not ideal for long term)....
