Great scope!
I ordered this scope and a Vortex diamondback at the same time. The diamondback was to go on my Rem 223 and this one was going to be for my 17hmr. The Vortex came in first with this one the next day. I was so impressed with this scope compared to the Vortex I put this on my 223 and sold the Vortex. Guess I need another one of these for my 17 now but I like it for my 223. I've never really had a "high end" scope, but this is one of the better "cheap scopes" I’ve owned.... More

Great Value
I bought this scope when I was on a pretty tight budget. Overall it is a great value. The mildot is accurate. The adjustments are accurate. This scope holds its zero. But if you are looking to shoot long range with this thing, you will need a 20moa base.
My only complaint about this scope is the glass/optics on this scope are wavy and fuzzy at full magnification. Of all my scopes (Leupold, Redfield, and a 4x Simmons) this has the worst glass of them all.
But with that being said, this scope is a great value. I would recommend if you’re looking to throw something cheap on your rifle. But if you are looking for good glass I think you will just have to pay more $$$.

Great scope
As far as a good, reliable scope, this one works great. I wasn't expecting a whole lot for $145, but was very pleasantly surprised... everything on it just works as it should.
It holds zero, adjustments are accurate, mil-dots are accurate, and the AO functions properly with accurate markings. The glass isn't the greatest, but it's plenty clear and bright to hunt with or target shoot within reasonable lighting.
The only down-side to this scope is that it's a bit finicky with respect to eye position. If your eye is centered it's fine, but there's not a lot of room for moving around or being off-axis. A very minor gripe, and easy to work with. Overall this may be the best sub-$200 scope on the market right now.
I use it for longer ranges with my .308, and the elevation adjustments have been repeatable and it always returns to zero. I shot a 12 MOA box test with it, and had several one-hole groups at 100 yds in the box corners, and a solid 3/4 MOA group at the box center.
