Flat top mount
When I first got this mount I was impressed by its robust and sturdy design. However when I went to actually install it on my flat top there are a few things could be better. First it's not a solid one piece design. The clamp apparatus is separate from the ring mounts. So at first glance it looks like it has 6 pieces, but when I had to readjust the centering of the mount I found there were more. The hex head screws that work the clamp device screw into rounded nuts in the clamp. These nuts are not part of the left side rail, but are press fitted into it. So if specs are off, they will spin when you try to loosen the screw for final fitting.
This mount is not bad for plinking or varmint hunting, but I would not suggest it for rugged use, a more solid design would be better. In theory I can see how this is supposed to work, but it does not do so well in reality. Could have been designed better instead of cost cutting.... More

Love it!
I have looked at a number of AR mounts over the past 6 months and this one turned in an A1 rating in my book. Not only is it a solid one piece mount that attaches to your rail system, but it comes with everything you need to mount your scope too. The M-223 mount gives you plenty of room to use your charging handle as well scope movement to get the correct eye relief. I paired mine with the Nikon M-223 3-12x42 SF with Rapid Action Turret Technology. Honestly I would never have thought that I would be hitting targets at 600 yards but with this set-up I absolutely did!... More
