follow up
I finally had the opportunity to truly test the BDC. Starting at 100 with a 100 yard zero I worked out to 600 yards shooting steel. The BDC tracked up and down without issue. Each time was a 1st round hit. I went back through using 68 grain BTHP (Hornady over Win748) and was still able to ring steel though obviously with a slightly higher hold. What was surprising was the clarity, the target was a standard IPSC half hidden in shadows in the tree line but it could easily be seen, the moa dot made it easy at 600, to the point it became monotonous.... Amazing scope for the price
After reading so many good reviews, I had to give this scope a try. The bundle just seems too good to pass up. I was pleasantly surprised with the clarity/brightness of the glass. I compared it to a Burris MTAC 1-4 and while the Burris definitely had more forgiving eye relief at 4x, I felt the Optisan still had better glass (notably brighter/clearer). I like the reticle and while I haven't used the BDC turret yet, I'm looking forward to playing with it. I zeroed it in last night, moved the turret a few times to show others the BDC markings, then put it back to zero. I test fired a couple more rounds and they went right where they were supposed to. Yes, the turrets are a little squishy. You can hear the clicks if you're in a quiet area, but can't feel them. I just went visually by the marks on the turrets. The glass is just amazing! I'm interested to see how it holds up to some abuse (competition). If it holds up well, this scope is one of the best bargains out there!... More

Awesome Optic!!
I took a chance on this scope and now I am so glad I did. I put this on top of a 16" DPMS. After several hundred rounds it still holds zero. You can't go wrong with this one!

Great Scope For The Money!
I bought this scope based on reviews I read on it. After receiving it, the reviews were spot, especially on the clarity of optics. I own Weaver V and T Series Scopes, NF, Leupold, Burris Tactical, Tasco, Simmons, Lyman, and this scope for the price is money well spent.

Just have to rate this POS.
That is Precision Optical Scope! Mounted to a Sig 556 Classic with UTG 1/2 inch riser allows use of diopter sight equipped on my rifle. The Optisan mount is a see-thru design. I can leave the scope mounted and still have battle sights there as needed. The additional height is no problem. At 25 yards the rifle printed slightly left of center and low, but W/E knobs allowed quick and positive adjustment. At 100 yards it printed a little high. I am very impressed with this scope and mount. The fit and finish are first rate. The optics are very clear and sharp. Overall, I am quite pleased with my choice. Great optic unit at the special combo price! ... More
