Excelent scope !!!
I went to the local stores and compared this scope with all the others, now that I have run a couple of hundred rounds with it attached to my M1A I can say this is a really great, well-built scope. The clarity and focus is awesome, love it. Well worth the money!! I’m glad there are some good deals still left out there.... More

Excellent 1000 yard scope - 50 BMG Tough
I read, and keep reading, reviews to the positive for the entire SWFA SS line of scopes. I was in need of a more powerful scope for my Barrett M99 for 1000 yard competition and chose the SS 20X. I was unsure if the mirage at this power range would make the scope unusable at 1000 yards. That was certainly not the case. During the match the scope performed flawlessly and I was easily able to see the orange hit markers on the black bull. Turrets are easily adjusted and zero with just a slight amount of backlash. Optical quality is great and like I said, 1000 yard capable. After 100 rounds of 50 BMG pounding there are no issues. I may soon pick up another as a back up - easily done at this price.... More

Best bang for the PERIOD
If you’re anything like me, you do your research before pulling the trigger on a big ticket item. I’ve Owned/own almost all of the Mid-level scopes including Leupolds, Nikons, Bushnell, Millet, and a handful of the Budget scopes such as Primary arms and Counter Snipers. STOP searching and buy this scope. This 20x fixed is definitely geared towards the benchrest crowd. I love mine and recommend it to friends and people I meet at the range. For the ar15 with .233 I’d go with the 10x Fixed. There is a reason no one else sells this scope.... More

SWFA SS20X42 - Outstanding Scope, Outstanding Value
I don't usually write reviews for products, but I will make an exception for the fantastic SWFA SS20X42.
I purchased the SS20X42 to replace a Leupold, that although cost quite a bit more than the Super Sniper, it just didn't have the features that I wanted in a scope.
The new SS20X42 performed better than I thought it should given its price point. In fact, I just can't imagine a scope in this price range with better tracking, clearer optics and a perfect repeatable zero. My buddy was equally impressed, and we both thought that the SS20X42 had a clearer picture of the target than his Bushnell Elite 6500. The text on the target was clearly visible with the SS20X42, but was too blurry to read with the Bushnell.
My first range trip with the SS20X42 consisted of 5 rounds of ammunition for sighting and 5 in a 1/4 MOA group.
Thanks,
Greg Glass... More

SS20 1,000 yards in ohio
I bought my first SS20 about 3 years ago. Mounted on my M1A, zeroed at 300 and it has never moved! I moved out to 1,000 yards quickly. You cannot beat this scope for the price! Hands down the best in its class. Bought another one 2 years ago for my savage .17 heavy. Great for rodents, turkey, etc. Shoot 'em in the eye out the back window, love these scopes. Thanks SWFA!
Jim
P.S. I have pictures!
