Excellent 1000 yard scope - 50 BMG Tough
I read, and keep reading, reviews to the positive for the entire SWFA SS line of scopes. I was in need of a more powerful scope for my Barrett M99 for 1000 yard competition and chose the SS 20X. I was unsure if the mirage at this power range would make the scope unusable at 1000 yards. That was certainly not the case. During the match the scope performed flawlessly and I was easily able to see the orange hit markers on the black bull. Turrets are easily adjusted and zero with just a slight amount of backlash. Optical quality is great and like I said, 1000 yard capable. After 100 rounds of 50 BMG pounding there are no issues. I may soon pick up another as a back up - easily done at this price.... More

Great scope
I did a lot of reading on forums about this scope before I purchased it and must say, it was all true. For the money, you cant go wrong! My first shot was way left and within 2 more I was right on target. I will definitely be buying more of these when I need another scope.

SWFA SS 20x42
I put this scope on my REM 700 .308 and it is OUTSTANDING!!! For the money it is as good as my Nightforce that I paid 3 times as much for. Thanks guys for making a good scope for the price.

Great scope for the money, like others have said in low light it can be a little dark. But it’s a great buy, I currently have it on a Remington SPS AAC-SD .308 and it’s an awesome fit!

Best bang for the PERIOD
If you’re anything like me, you do your research before pulling the trigger on a big ticket item. I’ve Owned/own almost all of the Mid-level scopes including Leupolds, Nikons, Bushnell, Millet, and a handful of the Budget scopes such as Primary arms and Counter Snipers. STOP searching and buy this scope. This 20x fixed is definitely geared towards the benchrest crowd. I love mine and recommend it to friends and people I meet at the range. For the ar15 with .233 I’d go with the 10x Fixed. There is a reason no one else sells this scope.... More
