Swaro Laser Rangefinder - The Cost of Excellence
My friend and shooting partner owns this piece of equipment. It is expensive, of that there is no doubt. But time and time again the effectiveness of this tool has helped in properly ranging and then engaging targets. As an LEO and my partner a Paramedic we cross train on many different tactical subjects and every time we laser a target and dial in our dope its spot on. My 556 SPR and AR10 and his 700PSS in 308 and 338LM each and every time it’s an accurate reading. This weekend I actually was able to laser a target @ 1536m in bright sunlight off the side of a rock bluff in Dugas, AZ. When I returned home using Google earth I was able to use the tools and the reading was exactly the same from landmark to landmark. Dixie Precision Rifles
With the Swarovski Rangefinder I was able to consistently range whitetail deer at both 1400 and 1328 yards late in the day of January 5th, 2011. I was successful in making a kill shot on the deer at 1328 yds with a Dixie Precision Rifles 7mm WSM. We recorded it all in high-def video and placed it on youtube.

Excellent!
I played with this for about two weeks (on loan), I will be the first to admit that this has to be the best optic I’ve ever looked through. This finder is super easy to use and its very accurate. I wouldn’t have expected anything less from Swaro!
