I would pay double for the quality
I put one of these on my Mossberg 100 ATR (30.06). It was a little difficult to zero, but I later figured out that it was because the shop didn't mount it dead on in the rings, it's a couple of degrees clockwise. I have put this scope through its paces hunting the backwoods and swamps in the Pennsylvania mountains. We get the lake effect snow from Lake Erie and often have a foot or more snow on the ground during deer season. I have drug it through thick brush, dropped it, had it covered with snow, and even dropped it a few times. After all of that I took it back to the range and, without any adjustments, was shooting 2-3 inch groups at 100 yds. My ammo varies and I have not had any work done to my rifle. This scope is easy to adjust on the fly, is durable beyond my expectations, and has a clear crisp field of view. I'd recommend it to anyone.... More
