Excellent scope with one flaw
This scopes just like the rest of the Vortex Viper line-up is exceptionally well built and has superb glass for the money (very good resolution and exceptional contrast). Its Achilles heel is tunnel vision. It is not sever, but it is easily noticeable. Vortex is well aware of this flaw and I fully expect the next redesign to take care of that. On a flip side, this scope has a comparatively slip eyepiece, so for rifles where bolt clearance is an issue it is a very viable option.
