Great Little Sight for the $$$
I'll just start off by saying it isn’t an Aimpoint T1, but for 1/3 of the price it is an excellent value and way better than anything else in this price range. I put one on a M4 with the absolute co-witness mount (also comes with 1/3 lower co-witness and low mounting hardware). You don't have to worry about the sun washing out the dot on the Sparc like you do on the Strike-Fire. The 2 MOA dot is very bright in full sunlight. I did go ahead and purchase the kill-flash for the sight, as without it you will glow like a candle. The 2x magnifier is pretty much worthless in my opinion, as it restricts your vision to the point that it is more of a hindrance than a help. I would definitely buy the Sparc again. You can buy three of these for what the Aimpoint T1 costs.... More

High end optic without a high end price tag
In the world of red dot optics, it seems like you have very expensive and very durable optics like Eotech and Aimpoint. Then you have low end or mid level red dots, most of which are really not up for any serious use (military, law enforcement, etc.). When you see the price of the SPARC you start thinking mid grade, but you would be wrong. The Vortex SPARC is a high end red dot with a mid grade price tag. The glass is very clean and clear, the dot is crisp without ghosting, the mounts are simply awesome and the overall unit is very durable. I was skeptical when I bought it (before it arrived), but after a few months of use and abuse I am a believer. No need to drop 4-5 bills on a red dot when you can drop 2 and get a unit 99% as good.... More

Great compact sight
I had been looking at this sight to run on an AR, but I ordered a different micro dot sight. I was not happy, it mounted so low on an AR you could only see the front sight base. The brightness settings never could go high enough in the bright sun. I ordered the SPARC and with the supplied mounts I can run it on my AR and it feels right. I also read online that you can use the Larue Tactical HK 416 mount for the Aimpoint micro dot on this sight. I will be ordering another for my ACR. Don't waste your time looking around if you want a small, compact, and lightweight sight, order this one or the Aimpoint neither would be a bad choice.... More

SPARC
I put this sight on my AK it works perfectly. Don't waste your money on a aimpoint the SPARC is all you need. I would compare this to a micro. The best thing is the mounting system, I have it on my AK right now but it works just as well on my AR and my muzzleloader. Might actually buy another.

very satisfied customer
Thanks SWFA for a very smooth transaction and a great little red dot. Small, lightweight and has plenty of brightness even midday under the full sun. Took no time at all to get it zeroed at 100 yds and mount is solid as can be after putting 250 rounds through my POF .308. Loving the 2x magnifier that came with it also.... More
