Warne Maxima Handgun Bases

Warne Maxima Multi-Sight System has a proven track record for success. Hugely popular with the Smith & Wesson L, K, & N frame revolvers, the Warne Maxima line has now been expanded to include Ruger’s Redhawk and Blackhawk line of hunting handguns, and the Dan Wesson Large Frame 445 Supermag.

A new addition to the Warne Maxima Multi-Sight System Line is the M500 base. This updated Warne Maxima X frame multi sight base has proven itself worthy even when the most powerful loads are used. Because of its substantial recoil of the Smith & Wesson X frame revolvers; Warne have developed a new multi sight base specifically for the X frame. While some customers have used our original multi sight base M629 for the X frame, it was designed specifically for the L, K and N frames and weight and strength was a concern. To solve this issue the new X frame mount has additional material added to the front underside of the base and longer screws to reach more of the mammoth handguns top strap. And the final addition is a special heat treating process to provide maximum rigidity.

Warne’s unique Maxima Multi-Sight Systems allows for flexible sighting systems. The user may choose between optics, iron sights, quick acquisition sights, and other sight systems without loss of zero. This system permits the optical sights to be quickly removed, allowing use of the integrated or factory iron sights. A shooter may have multiple sighting systems, multiple ammunition types and multiple sighted-in distances for each – ready to go.
