    Excellent!

Posted by Zachary D on Jan 7th 2024

Went out today and zeroed this on my new Ruger American Predator 308. Was damn near zero from the factory. This 10x was crisper and easier to read at 100 yards than my spotting binoculars.

Update to prelim review: better than I thought

Posted by Travelis on Oct 5th 2023

I mounted my SS on a slightly higher mount, closer to the eye (which wasn't possible with my previous rifle on low 11mm dovetail rings), and now things are doing a good bit better. The view is now far more repeatable, and so the view is much clearer. The eye box is still a bit small, but not much worse if at all than other scopes in its price bracket. And like last time, I want to give big props to the reticle on the SS...I have yet to see another reticle that is as useful, uncluttered, and versatile. The only thing to make it better would be to add illumination to the center dot. Field of view: 7.5/10 Clarity: 7.5/10 Reticle: 9.5/10 Eye relief/eyebox: 6.5/10 Portability: 6/10 Turrets: 8/10 Value: 8.5/10 Overall: 7.5-8/10

    Great Scope

Posted by Mr Smooth on Oct 5th 2023

I have two of these on Ruger Predator Rifles. I shoot a 22 inch .223 and an 18 inch .308. Ranges from 100 to 1000 yards. The .223 maxes out at about 700 yards. Great scope and reticle. I also have three 12Xs on 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor. I will probably buy another since I cannot find any other scope with this value for less than $1000. If you’re in doubt get the 12x over the 10x.

    Best Optic for the Money

    Posted by P-NUT on Oct 5th 2023

The SS10x42MOA riflescope performs perfectly. This riflescope tracks like a champion and returns home every time. The glass is better than my Leopold scope. I mounted it on a .22 LR training rifle. I will be purchasing an SS12x42 for another rifle. Why pay $2,000 for a scope when the SWFA SS will do the job for $300?

    SS - Super Scope

Posted by Bullberry on Oct 5th 2023

I had seen all the solid reviews on YouTube. This scope lives up to everything I could ask for. Learning to shoot a first focal plane scope has made me a better marksman. Windage and elevation were always a guess with second focal plane scopes, but not anymore. Hitting 3" steel gongs at 200 yards with my Mini F-Class 22 CZ 455 is a piece of cake.

    SWFA SS 10x42; The Challenger!

Posted by Gustav on Oct 5th 2023

The SWFA SS 10X42 riflescope is an excellent scope for the money. Mounted on Rem 700P .308. Clear view, crisp adjustments. Simple MOA reticle, 1" per 100 yards, is that so complicated? Use a range card for your ammunition, this scope will do its part. Don't get sidetracked on higher powers. 10X gives you a good bright field of view without excessive mirage. At 600 yards, this scope is the Challenger! Eastern Montana prairie dogs, coyotes, and badgers have been protesting...
