Scope is great for this price range! Good glass, good tracking, not too heavy. I have it mounted on a 300 win mag and have no issues with it. Turret click is fairly positive but could be a little better. I bought a second one for my wife's 308. She loves it also. I'd certainly recommend to a friend. I'll be purchasing more for other rifles. Thank you SWFA!
I have three of these SS 12x42 30mm scopes. Two on Ruger Predator Rifles and one on a Savage Tactical. I shoot ranges from 100 to 1100 yards and for the money, you can't beat these scopes! I shoot 6.5 Creedmoor and 308 with these 12Xs. I also have two 10Xs that I shoot 308 and 223. 600 to 700 yards is about max for the 223. Great scopes, if in doubt get the 12X.
I have been using this model now for about a year. I've taken it out to 1000 yards reliably, and have had zero issues with tracking. I did unfortunately accidentally remove the front lens when removing a stuck sunshade, but SWFA was excellent to work with on the warranty. My scope was sent out on Friday, received that Monday, and a replacement was shipped Tuesday. 5 stars for the scope, and 5 stars to SWFA customer service.
